We aim to provide the best matcha when it comes to production, traditional practices and working with our Tea Master and local farmers. This allows for smaller production and ensures each harvest produces the best matcha.

Heritage Grade
 Follows all traditional cultivation and production methods which are shade grown, handpicked, stone ground. Made from the best quality, first flush, spring harvested tencha. High umami flavor, minimum astringency, beautiful deep green color, fresh aroma. Smooth and silky texture. Estimated less than 2% of matcha sold worldwide is considered Heritage grade.
Imperial Grade

Made from the best quality, first flush, spring harvested tencha but uses some modern technology during cultivation and production. High umami flavor, minimum astringency, beautiful deep green color, fresh aroma. Smooth and silky texture. MAKE’s Imperial Grade is grown without the use of pesticides and considered JAS organic (Japanese standard).
Ceremonial Grade
Shop All ProductsMade from spring harvested tencha but uses some modern technology during cultivation and production. Balanced umami flavor, some astringency, bright green color, fresh aroma. MAKE’s Ceremonial could be considered Superior as it is single origin versus other ceremonials that can be made up of a blend of different matcha.
